About this role

As the Country Manager for India, you will play a pivotal role in leading and overseeing the sales and engineering functions. Your primary responsibilities will include driving business development initiatives, managing the Profit & Loss (P&L) for the region, and ensuring the achievement of growth and revenue targets.

As a Country Manager at actnano, you will be responsible for:

  • Sales and Engineering Leadership:

    • Supervise and mentor a dynamic team of sales and engineering professionals.
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
  • Business Development:

    • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities in the electronics coating market.
    • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with key clients and stakeholders.
    • Drive market penetration and expansion strategies to maximize company growth.
  • Profit & Loss (P&L) Management:

    • Take ownership of the financial performance of the India business unit.
    • Develop and implement effective cost management strategies to optimize profitability.
  • Growth and Revenue Targets:

    • Set and monitor ambitious growth and revenue targets for the region.
    • Implement strategic initiatives to achieve and exceed set targets.
  • Market Analysis and Strategy:

    • Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential challenges.
    • Formulate and execute market entry and expansion strategies in alignment with company goals.

Who We Need

 Our ideal Business Development Manager will possess the following experience and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within the electronics or coatings industry.
  • Strong understanding of the Indian market dynamics and business landscape.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales and revenue targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Global scope: Our business operates on a global scale, and you should be comfortable working with clients from a variety of countries and cultures. Regular domestic and occasional international travel is expected.
